{"id":159451,"date":"2024-09-30T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/?p=159451"},"modified":"2024-09-30T11:00:00","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T09:00:00","slug":"second-edition-agri-food-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/blog\/segunda-edicion-perte-agroalimentario\/","title":{"rendered":"What opportunities does the Second Edition of the PERTE Agri-Food programme offer?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mintur.gob.es\/es-es\/Paginas\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Industry and Tourism<\/a> has announced the opening of the second edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/planderecuperacion.gob.es\/como-acceder-a-los-fondos\/pertes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strategic Programme for Economic Recovery and Transformation<\/a> (PERTE) Agri-food.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a Perte?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PERTE Agro is an initiative that forms part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/planderecuperacion.gob.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recovery Plan<\/a> and which aims to <strong>revitalise and modernise the<\/strong> thriving <strong>Spanish agri-food sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With \u20ac100 million in grants and another \u20ac200 million in loans allocated, <strong>The programme is designed to be an essential support for technological and rural development in the agri-food sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It thus represents an opportunity for companies in the agri-food sector to strengthen their competitiveness and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Companies wishing to develop strategic projects for the economic recovery and transformation of the sector may apply for this aid, which will be awarded on a non-competitive basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The objectives of the PERTE Agri-Food programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new edition aims to<strong> strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the agri-food sector in Spain<\/strong>, especially in rural areas where the business sector has a greater presence. It also seeks to strengthen their competitiveness and profitability, with measures focused on process automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The financial impetus behind PERTE seeks to promote innovation, energy efficiency, and the transition to a greener and more digital economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This second Perte Agro will have three lines of action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Investment in equipment for SMEs.<\/strong> This line will directly support the modernisation of equipment in small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research, Development and Innovation (R&amp;D&amp;I).<\/strong> Designed to fund research, development and innovation projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Innovation in sustainability and energy efficiency.<\/strong> Seeks to promote projects that improve resource and energy management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are the requirements for the PERTE Agro award?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projects wishing to join this programme must fall within at least one of the thematic priorities established by the ministry, such as the circular economy and eco-innovation.; <a href=\"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/consultancy\/asistencia-procesos-descarbonizacion\/\">decarbonisation<\/a>, energy efficiency, new renewable energy sources and reduction of polluting emissions; advanced materials and products; innovation in quality and safety processes; and projects based on digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Applications may be submitted until 21 October 2024.<\/strong> The selected projects must be implemented within two years of the final decision on the grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the first edition. <\/strong>The first Perte Agro awarded \u20ac182 million, with grants reaching more than 286 primary projects from 224 companies, and with actions in 14 autonomous communities.<br \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PERTE Agro is an initiative that forms part of the Recovery Plan and aims to revitalise and modernise Spain's thriving agri-food sector.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":159680,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[134],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-159451","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-agro"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/159451","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=159451"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/159451\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/159680"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=159451"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=159451"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/gesvalt.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=159451"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
