There has indeed been a significant impact on the purchase of foreign residential assets in Spain for three reasons:
- The general decline in sales of more than 10% has similarly affected the international sector, which has traditionally accounted for approximately 15% of the total.
- The lack of international mobility has significantly curtailed international visits.
- Doubts about the post-Brexit market situation, as well as financial uncertainties and, consequently, a possible drop in prices for second homes, have caused many international buyers to adopt a wait-and-see approach to their purchasing decisions.
